Very less pay. You are forced to take calls even you move into other role. Pay is very very less. You can expect hike only upto 6% even you are excellant performer. Leaves are a big headache. You will have sufficient leave balance but no slots as usual to get approved. Pay is very very less across. You will get gifts quaterly and other occasions which they say that they are doing so much for employees. If pay slab is increased people will come forward to work and people will refer others.

Dislikes

Pay is very less. Only 3k per month hike you get every year. Hardly 30to 32k increase you get as yearly hike.

Likes

Good work environment and culture. Management is supportive. There is a huge cafeteria ,free gym , cool gaming arcade and chilling area .Good benefit like free transport.

Dislikes

No incentives, , No night shift allowance. No Bonus and Yearly increment is very poor n below average. Rotational shift , Split off Only good for freshers.

The work culture in synchrony is truly commendable. An employee working here will never feel pressurised. There is value to the work we do and it is also recognized.

... i would like to mention here is about the compensation. I joined as a fresher..so it's pretty much evident that the pay will not be that high. But I'm happy with whatever i've got.

As for me I got to work in good teams. I was part of Analytics dept. And worked for 4 yrs approximately. Quality of work was good when I joined as part of GE Capital Retail Finance but after it became Synchrony lot of changes happened and work quality was impacted. Job security, free transport,work from home, team outings were some of the good things.

Dislikes

Cafeteria sucks, management biased towards South Indian people. Salary not par with market for same experience bucket. Growth opportunity is not so good

Synchrony provides the best environment for a fresher to start their career. They also provide all facilities for their employees and take great consideration for their benefit.

The salary, as they don't provide incentives or bonuses for employees who would do well compared to others
