Nothing to like really. You just get stuck in doing monotonous job

...erable. Asking to not come on a public holiday leads to targetting by your boss. No compensation for working on holidays. One has to work for 10-12 hours Monday to Saturday. You are asked to do work outside bank guidelines and no risk allowance/security assurance is given.

Customer interfacing, communication skills, on the spot dynamic thinking, on the go technical learning and adaptability to any situation -these are what i learnt from my work as a clerical staff.

...mma, between not taking promotion and remaining stagnant in same role for years. The pay is decent, there are concessions on loans, medical facilities etc but the salary revision happens only once in 5/6 years after numerous union strikes. Passing JAIIB, CAIIB exams, Annual increment and promotion are the only way you can increase your income. Rest is at the mercy of IBA settlement.

I dislike the working culture of the bank where there is no professionalism. One person is required to do the work of other persons at the same time with lot of supervisors pressure with the customers pressure at a same time. I dislike the late working hours .
