...and given special attention to few people who can speak good but cannot deliver. Salary for HR team like HD operations, Talent acquisition who are based in Banaglore and Chennai is very poor. No market correction for them. They had let go of top performers with the teams. The new leaders are not empathetic and it shows how company culture is shifting to biasness.

Internal promotion and hike where only selected people (bucket) are given. Talent is underappreciated and you are targeted during hike or promotion. Family and personal background (not considering a persons ambition to work) are considered irrespective of how efficient you work.

There are a lot of learning opportunities if you find the right team

The pay is low, there is no growth- no hike, no promotion, for entire departments for years. There is a lot of work pressure and work hours are too long.

No hike. No recognition.. lots of partiality about staffs... If u highlight anything respective employee will b targetted and will b punished either by not giving hike or by putting them under PIP... Have undergone much and not voicing out anything to keep myself safe...

Standard Chartered is definitely a great place to start and grow in your career. The Company offers a very good work life balance and it's culture is something you can look forward to!!

Dislikes

Hike/salary is very much low compared to market standards. Very less promotions and appraisals.
