Ahmedabad engineering team (earlier cyberoam) was bought by Sophos. Slowly power is shifting to Bangalore, so Ahmedabad team doesn't coopertate to bangalore teams at all. In the name of no-spoon feeding, there is no cooperation, no mentoring, guidance, sharing knowledge etc. Managers from Ahmedabad hardly have any communication with bangalore team. Also there is hardly any communication or reachability in higher management from Sophos. Work wise also, I worked on random non core domain projects. So waste of time. However, there are few teams which operate independently in bangalore & has no relationship with Ahmedabad, which can be a good option.

...fe balance is the lowest priority in their list but working hour is flexible. 7. No compensation for on call rotta or weekend work.Not even comp off day.

If you are looking for great salary and overall culture this is for you. You can definitely learn to manage time and you will be a Superman if you can atleast make 1 year there. If you adjust here then you can work anywhere easily.

Too much work. Less engineers and lots of calls. Work pressure will be there.

...earn and grow also there are lots of verticals so high chances of promotions. Salary and perks are good enough for 2-3 years of experience candidate.

Dislikes

Work life balance gest affected some time has to work even after office hours to do research for cases and there solutions. Compulsory 1 extra working day on weekend. Management does not approve leaves on short notice and also some time does not approve applied in advance as well so have to struggle alot for leaves and on the year completion it's going to be lapse no money in compensation for those leaves.
