The compensation was good. Colleagues are welcoming and helping.

Dislikes

--There was a massive layoff in Apr'23. The company is not reliable at all. --Too much politics in upper management. You need to be extra vocal otherwise no one will give you any credit for your work. --Work-life balance is the worst. We worked for 10-11 hours every day still our managers used to tell us that we were not giving our 100% and needed to put in more effort.

They do not make permanent. Since they have informed during interview that after completing OJT. But they had keep us in intern and after 9 months they suddenly they removed 180 employes.

Dislikes

Toxic management, CEO & CTO shows no empathy towards its employees. Layoffs, it seems they have FOMO on layoffs also. Another alarming aspect is the management's failure to acknowledge employees concerns or negative feedback. Internal politics causing toxic work environment. Hard working employees who should be valued assets, have been laid off due to toxic management practices. Management is filled with Favouritism & sexism.

Good salary. Talented employes (Which I guess have already left by now)

"Work-life balance is s**t" this is one of the public linkedin post of the CEO. Let's list down the negatives: 1. They hire promoting work-life balance, but after you join, they'll brainwash you on wfh is bad. 2. Work Life Balance is pathetic, Saturday? Sunday? Night? They expect you to work every time. 3. They'll mentally harrash you, You'll always hear "you're not doing good" , "person X is better than you" 4. Too many Product Managers, and they've a way of getting things done. 5. Product leaders are strong, engineernig leaders are weak, they just follow whatever product folks say. 6. 1 Engineer has to cater 4-5 PMs in a daily basis, and every one has a p0 priority. 7. CEO thinks of himself as some saint and guru. Always be giving gyan about trust and game theory etc. But doesn't have any idea that the employees don't trust him. 8. There were crazy talented people before, but now everyone has left (or is in the verge of leaving) because of the company's politics. 9. Product leaders support product employees, engineering leaders are backstabbers, they just want pat in the back from product leaders. 10. They'll always make you feel worthless if you go talking to them. You're not as good as X, you're just doing enough not more, etc etc. Now when I think of it, I think I should have filed an mental harassment case against them. Advice to management, Stop brainwashing the employees. Other leaders need to bring back CEO to the real world and make him realize that he is not a GOD and he doesn't know everything. CEO of Simpl may have empathy deficit disorder.
