I think Shell is one of the best company in the world where you can upskill and improve yourself in every aspect. Company work culture and Policy for employee is very attractive. They really care for employee wellbeing and here Policy is not only on Paper. There is good work life balance in this company.

Dislikes

Salary structure they can improve. But they are giving good as per Market standard. But they can pay good salary to employees who deserve.

Promotion and growth can be tough depending on at what level you enter the organization and pay scale. If you are recruited close to max pay grade limit for that position then you will be stuck there as promotion may take more than 4 years in certain teams. Strong budget cuts in learning & development for individuals in recent years. Highly unlikely for site visits, again due to budget cuts

Work life balance. And incase if you are a female employee then they will take more care.

Dislikes

No job security, reorganization happens in every 6 months, when it comes to pay your overall package looks really good but the variable portion is very high, which in last 2 years we have not received. Also the on boarding is worst among any companies and I am talking much earlier than covid19. They finalized with me in July and I joined in mid April next year. There is absolutely no benefits, even the parental insurance is highest in the market. On top they keep calling themselves the best in every aspect.

It's an amazing place to work with amazing people who are kind and very considerate about your well-being. Exposure to people across globally

Dislikes

Although they encourage diversity the SBO is a prime example of discrimination. You will work for global teams but your pay will be benchmarked really low. You are not paid on skills but on pay arbitrage. Not encouraging especially when you feel global team members are at a higher scale

The best oil and gas company that books profit even at the time of pandemic, people across the globe being a part of your team and most advanced operations.

Dislikes

The initial compensation are little low but after JG-4 it will become comparatively higher among its all peer companies.
