SEMAC WAS A DREAM PLACE TO WORK SOME ONE YEARS BACK. BUT IT SUFFERED BADLY IN HANDS OF NEW MANAGMENT. NOW IT OS KNOWN FOR ALL BAD REASONS. SADLY EVEN I HAVE MOVED OUT,,WHICH I NEVER WANTED. TOOMUCH OF INTERNAL POLITICS NOW. MANAGEMENT LISTENING TO WRONG PEOPLE FOR RIGHT DECISIONS TO BE TAKEN AND THEN SITTING ON A PILE OF BLUNDER. VERY SAD.

Work experience with Semac was very good. There was comfortable environment, co-operations, Company Culture that all good.

Dislikes

Not fit for Architects. No development and exposure. It's demanded without exposure you should know everything. Architects are treated as mere draftsman and no coordination. Not good for Building design. Matters turn worse in Design Build as term are dictated by Site ppl. And less qualified Project managers.

Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.
