New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

1 - immense work and target pressure 2 - no proper sales support 3 - time gets wasted in manual work, no automation in several aspects 4 - ground level issues of BDE/BDM is never heard by upper management 5 - no one cares if you quit the job, there is no exit interview 6 - no work life balance, worked even on sundays and bank holidays

Work life balance is the best part about the company. Lot of exposure to different roles. Life at regional office is tought whereas it is much better at Head office.

In today's times, it is important to work to support my family properly, hence I give my 100% to this company so that someday my salary will increase but after working for more than 1 year, I am realizing that It is very difficult to move forward, here we have to work till late night due to which we are not able to give time to our family, and even after doing so much work, we get very low salary so that I cannot support my family properly. I don't know how to do it, even after working for more than 14 hours every day, I don't get any bonus also.
