1) best liked by Employees working in Saipem Chennai - is job security with below market level salaries. Some chance of sending to onsite to do Clerical job onsite, so has earn good big bucks. Salaries are low so company won't be firing you. Not competitive salaries 2) everyone is given laptops

...areer advancement. 9) no cultural diversity, only local people are preferred. 10) great disparity or differences in salary or CTC of similar experienced people. Lower experience person will earn more while higher education experience person will languish. 11) blind eye from management & supervisors on who is working & who is wasting time in office. 12) no scope of improvement possible in company. Only guys who suck or do buttering will be preferred. 13) no regards to quality, only for name Quality department is mentioned in company. No documents have quality from drawings, isometrics , specifications any document. Just suck client money 14) when there is work no overtime is paid, even if paid for engineers it is very less per hourly. 15) you will feel like working in a school under strict headmaster. No time flexibility 16) HR will work in snale pace. May be snale will move faster then documents in HR department. 17) there is no quality manpower or skilled employees in Saipem GET batches. Terrible in technical knowledge.

Long work hours - 8.75hrs work + 0.75 hrs break Strict in out rules. Less salary No increment Full of Tamilians only Full of Tamil/Telungu politics. No side activities and interactions

Only one good thing is there is job security in this company, they will not fire . No work life balance No compensation No skill development program No increment not even 0.01paisa increment. Forget about bonus. 365 days there is an urgency. Management is worst. Here there is no Role of HR, they need to follow management, hence management behaviour over employees is worst. Working timing is 9:30-6:45, they'll assign some urgent work at 6:00 and will tell us to be closed by the end of the day which means we need to extend our working hours upto 8 or 9 or 10 or until the job is over.

Dislikes

No work life balance, no bonus , no increment, no appreciation, no skill development program, no opportunity to learn. There is lot of politics, only Tamil guys grow here. 365 days work load , everyday work is urgent, management is worst.

Likes

Good job security. No salary cuts. Good exposure to various EPC projects. One can change verticals with their wish. Supportive senior management. No need to work on holidays or weekends since there is no overtime.

Dislikes

No financial growth. No facilities compared to other EPC organizations. Longer regular work hours. Conservative company culture. No work from home.

Top management people will treat you as a slave,they will say it’s my kingdom and you need obey my orders.
