Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Bond - There is bond when you join a fresher for 2 years , in a few cases even for experienced . for freshers there is no increment in those 2 years then the increment given is below industry standard Even when you go to france there is 1 year bond and the onsite visit is not longer than a month. If you want your certification sponsored again you have 1 year bond , 2. Sandwich leave policy : This outdated policy is still prevailing in this company . 3. Old Technology (In terms of Software) - A lot of the work done here is on old technology . There is no cloud in most of the teams here and very few teams are working on new tech . If you are in old tech switching to new tech is not easy internally even though you have the skills and certifications .
