... that I joined Optum. It has the best infrastructure and job security is 10000%. Salary always on time. Management is too lenient and the best part is that I have never felt this much leverage and freedom in any other company. Optum is indeed a great place to work. they provide both sided cabs as well. I have literally no complaints. everything including HR, and senior staff has been very helpful.

Most projects has good work life balance unless your in production support. Less layoffs compared to other companies

Less pay and hikes compared to other product based companies . 20% variables which will be paid based on company and your performance . Less technical growth .

1. Great work life balance. 2. Most of the people are good to work with. 3. Decent salary.

Dislikes

1. Very slow growth and promotions. 2. Lot of politics at senior levels. 3. Work from office is mandatory for 10 days. 4. Not very good projects to work on.

Work life balance is good with decent pay.

Dislikes

Variable pay is the worst part where there is no guarantee that atleast 50% is earned. You get more than 50% when you accept projects beyond your daily activities.

1. Good work life balance, if you perform well and complete all the tasks that are assigned to you, definitely you will be on the top list for appraisal process. 2. Better compensation when compared to other companies, but you need to exhibit your skills in negotiations during HR round. 3. If you have a very understanding/supportive manager, your life would be better in optum.

...aisals are not upto mark, they say it's based on overall company performance. 3. 100% variable pay will not be paid to us, stating company performance are not upto mark irrespective of your best performance. 4. 10days mandatory to office, which I don't feel there is any need of it. As we are all completing the work on time even while working from home.
