As tourism industry has in its drustic depression, our organization is no exception. The company has faced serious trouble economically and it's about to drowse soon. More than 20 people are going to lose their jobs. The company has provided us moral support time to time in this odd. But it's helpless to survive and can't provide us any job security or support us economically by giving us salaries anymore. The company did not receive any support from the govt either. WE HAVE LOST OUR JOB, WE HAVE LOST OUR DREAM PROFESSION AND WE ARE GOING TO LOSE OUR BELOVED COMPANY.

Dislikes

The company should have acted more professionally. It could plan in some better way. The company had make some serious bad decisions which I didn't like. And the company never takes professional advices before investment which resulted this drastic situation.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
