Hi, I'm here to share a part of my journey from the past 12 years in my career, I started from a package of 3.6LPA in 2013 at iGate and due to a few bad decisions on my career and worthless advices from people who are always pessimistic about the industry, I switched two companies and landed in a start-up with 2.4LPA. I worked hard nearly 8-16hrs a day single handed researched, built and managed an entire vertical of a project for 8 years. When the company didn't value my contribution and thought I was too young to become a manager, I had a package of 6LPA and Senior developer in designation. I switched for obvious reasons to a TL role for 12LPA and now at the same company I'm a TPM on the basis of my contribution with 48LPA as a fixed component. I feel outclassed in terms of having a fancy CV with certifications, I feel like CTC has hit a peak with 48LPA being fixed and nearly 40% in Variable. Most companies are hesitant to hire me because of this. What should be my next move?

...of learning and internal politics.....I was in operations working in shifts ....salary wise , they don't offer much in a span of 2.5 years I couldn't make 20000 a month after such a hard work....well things might have changed now so can't say much.....but apart from operations they have different departments which were quiet good in terms of salary as well as work culture.....where you can stay a long.....Apart from this you will be given training to upgrade yourself timely which is good ....I was in Noida location , the infrastructure was amazing there....

As I was in operations my office life was still live after office hours.....you have to be on call after your shifts gets over that was very disappointing....huge work pressure add on politics can lead one to easily frustrat .... continuous shift with only 15 mins break policy was a pain.....

Salary and other benifts are good.

Dislikes

Job satisfaction is not good. HR involment is zero. In 6 year i have not single call from HR. My Team size is small and work load is huge, As my team size is of 5 team mate and woking for only Vodafone network, but after idea marging team size is same but work is doubled Vodafone + Idea. HR and Upper management is not good, not taking care of employees.

You can work in live networks and explore all the Telecom related tools and concepts.

Dislikes

Working on rotational shift will weaken your health. Salary and hike will be very less compared to current market. Work-life balance is quite tough if you couldnt manage well.
