In this company salary increment is done according to the outstanding of the branch, so the new staff who join in a smaller branch will not get any benefit. If increment is done according to the outstanding of the branch then the vintage staff should get a bigger branch according to their individual score card or there should be shuffling of all employees every 2 years.

Dislikes

Working culture is toxic in some branches as there is lot of gap between management and employees. Employees do not able to contact HR for their problems. Appraisal and increment is not good as only buttering people get that.

In contrast, newly recruited staff members are offered higher starting salaries and enjoy more substantial increments as they progress. This practice can sometimes lead to feelings of undervaluation among vintage staff, who have consistently demonstrated loyalty, expertise, and a deep understanding of the organization’s values and processes. It may also impact overall motivation and morale, as the efforts of long-term employees appear to be less recognized in monetary terms compared to newcomers. I believe Muthoot Fincorp values its employees and strives for fairness in its policies. Therefore, I would like to suggest that the organization considers implementing a more balanced approach to increments and promotions, taking into account both tenure and performance. Our company environment is excellent, but our Area Manager's abusive language and sales driven approach compromise our well-being and role clarity. As Customer Service Executives, we're expected to focus on sales 90%, conflicting with our core responsibilities. We need support to address these issues and align our roles with customer service goals
