Unfortunately, mphasis is a very poor pay master. The HR policies are not up to date with the current market. Most people improve their salaries by resigning and the company retaining them.

The compensation is only upgraded as a part of the retention process. The company still seems to think that there is an abundance of specialized labor in the market which is no longer the case. No proactive measures taken to ensure that employees are happy with their compensation and that they are atleast close to the market standards.

Their recruiter force you to take joining bonus and to join the company but then that's a trap, while leaving the company they will make that as a reason and take your entire salary and everything and still ask you to pay more.
