Higher than market compensation in India except for AWS and Google. Flexibility to work from home.

...larity of way forward. No appraisals in spite of WORLD RECORD BREAKING PROFITS. Just blind cost cutting everywhere without thinking of impact.

Salary is very less compare to other premium level company. Salary hike is very minimum. Promotion scope is less. Pay is not as as it should compare to work.

Empowerment. Good company for ICs in terms of pay and benefits and flexibility

Dislikes

Its hell for managers. You will be the slave in the hands of your team. Employee Signals survey is a nightmare for every manager. You need to spend money on your team, listen to their cuss words abuses just to meet Signals survey scores. HR will always be at the side of ICs. Be prepared if you are joining as a manager. You need to beg in front of your team for good scores and they will keep misusing policies.

Microsoft is a very inclusive company, everyone is treated with equal respect in most cases. My profile of working as a part of a partner is never seen that way by Microsoft employees. All questions are addressed and equal value is given at all times. All efforts are appreciated and sometimes celebrated.

Dislikes

Very little, the only noticeable down point is the cost cutting. They expect the employees to improve performances while restructuring the payment system to reduce the compensation.
