1. Salary compared to 2000’s paycheck, and as per HR it’s market standard 2. Like a big MNC which thinks india as a hub for less money will work 24*7 3. Won’t fire anyone but would make scenarios as such that the employee would eventually leave 4. No retain policy, as they think MasterCard is a brand anyone would die to replace you. ( 5-6 position have been closed in a year as no one joined as replacement this is the brand value) 5. Acquires small companies and then treat their employees as step employees

I am working since 7yrs in Mastercard The company policies, work culture are good. You can easily do internal job change and career movement. Overa it's good experience.

Dislikes

Salary hike is not enough as compared with other companies.

...olicies are employee friendly. 3) Paternity leave is equal to maternity leave. 4) Insurance and salary structure is good. 5) Variable is always above 100%. 6) Hike and share rewards are good.

Dislikes

1) Management is rigid and not ready to accept change. 2) existing people have their own groups and are dominating. 3) Managers doesn't appriciate and value real work.

Likes

Very progressive values. Progressive policies. Good pay. Generally good people.

Dislikes

Too much politics and reliance on personnel visibility instead of work delivered. Tech stack is very old. Not a lot of learning to be had. Mostly for DevOps - the job role is reduced to application support with repetitive tasks which can't be automated because of the chokehold of infra teams on the test environments.

Likes

Work environment and teams are very good. Work life balance is good. Decent compensation. Recognition of efforts. Opportunity to grow and up skill. Excellent HR policies. Lots of Paternity leave.

Dislikes

No transport facilities.
