Was a good organisation when I joined, used to have great work life balance, also good learning opportunities but now everything is going downhill because ceo is incompetent and hr head is a buffon.

Dislikes

1) salary is not paid on time, forgot about your variable pay. They don't even inform you about it. 2) company don't have funds, mass layoff to happen in second week of Feb 2025. 3) strict timings (can't be a minute late after 10:30) 4) no wfh (earlier there was no such restriction) 5) micromanagement at its peak 6) company future is bleak 7) only few people call the shots and they all are calling the wrong shots for quite some time, hiring Nitin Kapoor as the hr head was their biggest mistake.

...8th Jan they said 15th and till date few ppl have not received their salary. 2). Variable pay is not been given since last 2 quarters. 3). Travle/Food reiumbursements are delayed u need to do a lot of follow ups. 4). There is no flexibility, no WFH on top of it if you come 1 min late after 10.30 am a mail is triggred to ur manager and HR stating unaccounted. 5). Absolutely no process is followed ..all projects are in bad shape. 6).Founders only favour the people who are working with them since beginning, no rules apply for them. 7) PPl who are woking since beginning are rude to other they think they can do whatever they want with noone to question. Caution-: Please don't go by the 4 or 5 Star ratins as they are either given by thier favourite ppl or any of the new ppl.For example which employee will rate a company on a saturday 18th Jan 2025 ,only one who likes to stare at thier bosses instead of his wife.

I feel compelled to share my experiences as I had the worst experiences of my career at Lumiq. There was an abysmal lack of transparency in work/project allocation, and it seemed as though the lead or manager stole all the credit for the hard work put in by everyone else (people who work at ground level). There was no recognition of the team's efforts, and it created a toxic work environment where people were afraid to make mistakes. Moreover, the unrealistic work expectations were unbearable. Without any work-life balance, team members were expected to work day and night, even on weekends. There was no comp-off policy and no compensation for working on weekends. It was incredibly frustrating, and I could see many colleagues leaving out of sheer frustration just within a year of joining. The lack of empathy and blame game culture at the company made it intolerable. The so-called founding members were highly arrogant and disrespected both juniors and seniors. They seemed to be obsessed with micromanagment, which created a lot of fear among the employees. Even minor mistakes were subject to public humiliation and criticism. Overall, I had a terrible experience working at Lumiq. The culture was toxic, and the expectations were unrealistic. There was no work-life balance, and the lack of transparency made it impossible to work effectively. I highly regret working there. Therefore, it is advisable to think twice before deciding to join this firm.

Stress is created by seniors unnecessarily, toxic culture with no management of tasks/timelines. You will be fired easily if you raise some bad point to any seniors. This company will keep on hiring everytime as people leaving it too frequently.
