Communication from top management to all employees

Dislikes

... secured once project is completed employee has to find out other opportunities. even compensation is reimbursed but employees needs job security. Exit policy is not same. Embarrassing for people those who are leaving, which damages returning relation of employees, recommendation to new members. Destroys long term relations.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
