1. Appraisal is based on how people think of you and not your work i.e., your brand will define your appraisal, no matter how hard you work. 2. If you are from Accounts, even though you don't have petty cash at site, you are not expected to say 'NO' but otherwise and spend from your pocket to claim it back. Sometimes, you won't even be able to get it back. 3. No clear target or vision is shared with the subordinates. 4. It is expected of you to perform without having the proper judgment of your skillsets. You could be assigned any role. 5. IS can and may rate you negatively on your transfer to the next project. (Do make a note of this)

... hogi teri" but No body know the truth that L&t is all about politics and games. But the salary is good here. You will get good package further in other company.

Late work. Log sitting hours. Red tape culture. Discrimination, frustration in employee. Old age employee politics.

...e subsidized food(3times), Good guest house Vehicles to pick n drop to work. Salary is never delayed and is always credited on 28th of every month. They provide health insurance to your and your dependents.

Terrible timing (12-14hrs) No proper job description No teamwork No comp off for working on Sundays No much growth No appreciation at all Your performance go unnoticed at they prefer giving higher rating to Engineers than Service dept. like(Accounts, Store & IR) HR is absent, never responds positively.

...rowth in L&T for lateral joiners. Around 30% of salary paid as variable salary. If anyone resigns before reaching the due date for variable pay, they will not get the same.

Individual wise responsibility, separate departments for executing separate works, job security, timely payment of salary.

Dislikes

Some managers wants to run the show as per their requirements which top management also agrees. Even after being a construction company where site people has to face a lot of issues, management took much time for resolution of problems.
