Liking about KPMG is really somewhat confusing

... Sunday or after 8 hours without booking time sheet is the most common practice. No extra hours booked no leaves/compensation.

Nothing much to like except brand name and compensation is good as per market standards.

Dislikes

The work culture is one of the poorest I have encountered in my career. There is complete disregard of personal life and clients will make your life hell. There is no support from management regarding client work ethics and you will have to fight your own battles. The company will force you to take projects, travel to different places at client locations and will terminate you if you refuse.

No doubt company is very good but learning their is so much depends on which process you are joining for tech savy people better to join in lighthouse department if you are seeking career growth and learning.

In the same company their is too much difference between salary and perk b/w departments

Supportive team and work-life balance. A mix of interesting and boring/repetitive work depending from project to project, can be hectic at times

Dislikes

...t well-defined, and learning gets stunted if stuck in the same project for long Appraisals and hikes are not satisfactory, pay is below market average
