...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

I graduated in B.tech ECE in April, 2019 from VIT University, Vellore. But My joining in KPIT was very delayed and I was onboarded in Feb, 2020. The 2-3 months genesis training was very good. But after that I was assigned to annotation project(kind of painting different objects in an image). There, I realized that there are other people who are forced to stay in this project. Around 60 people joined in my batch in feb and all of them got into some useless non-technical projects. KPIT also fired some people during COVID saying that they didn't get into any project. But reality is that the company does not have sufficient technical projects for freshers. I think company should not hire fresher engineers if they have to put them in a job which can be done by even a 10th pass student. It is spoiling their future by wasting their initial 2-3 years. I was mentally frustrated every time I had a thought about my career.

Appraisals are just for shanks if name purpose...No salary hike from last 2 years even no bonus also... No personal growth.. Without knowledge transfer immediately have to work... Management not clear and Can't address our issues. No sports, No Gym activities ..No Food No free Cab.. No free Food

Appraisals are fair but based on your team and manager only. If no politics in the team, definitely can get good credit from the management. Late night cab facility is available during the delivery.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is no job security. In past 3 years, have seen huge people lost their job due to recession. There's no time limit for work hours. Even if we you put more hard work by working for long hours for critical and short term task which is given by the customer, at the end management will not appreciate anything. But based on the customer we can get some appreciation. There's is no proper compensation for late night deliveries ( Food, Coffee) and weekend work.

hige pay scale difference, if you fall in lower bracket they won't increase it to retain you no matter how good you are. Work is mostly at peak level, and depends upon delivery manager who micromanage the hell out of things.
