No health insurance for employees or their families. Management believes that employee productivity will decline if they go to the canteen to purchase evening tea. Management will not provide salary slips or appraisal letters. Some team leaders are micromanagers. Salaries are lower compared to other companies. Designation changes to senior levels are not possible. The probation period is longer than average (typically 12+ months). The offboarding process is extremely terrible, with management behaving rudely and assuming the employee has cheated them. There are no employee engagement activities such as tours, monthly, or quarterly team lunches (these may happen once a year). Employees must be in the lab for at least 8 hours. If they are not present, they must send an email stating the reason. Alternative Saturdays are working days. Management frequently monitors employees' LinkedIn and Naukri profiles. No skill development opportunities—outdated ASP WebForms are still in use. On-site travel is only allowed for managers or senior employees with over 10 years of experience. **Note:** Don't trust 5-star reviews.

Good emphasis on employee development and technical orientation, Everyone is made to undergo the technical areas and domain training before assigned to their work. Good seniors who are approachable, and friendly. Accessibility to top management. Client exposure.

Dislikes

Sometimes delivery pressure from the client side puts work to be stretched 9-10 hours but its ok while growing in a team environment.

Process oriented. Supportive teammates. Get the opportunity to work on latest technologies.

Dislikes

Alternative Saturdays (first, third, fifth) are working. In addition to that, compared to other companies the holidays and leave allocated in a year is less. Management is too strict about the work from office and always compelled on the same. Very poor infrastructure.

Very positive atmosphere and culture. I was zero in knowledge when I joined Kott Software, now after 1 year and 5 months have realised the learning and personal development received. Seniors have no ego, very approachable and sharing their knowledge very freely to help you.

I have had the opportunity to work with Kott Software for 4 years and I would like highlight some of the positive aspects of my experience here. 1.Orientation and Training-Company gave very good training and oriented me not in technical skills but to grow in my communication skills and management skills. 2.Systems and Structure-Company is ISO 9001 2015 quality certified and has a good systems in place with regard to project management tools, collaboration tools, quality templates, HR systems for leaves ,attendance and payroll. 3.Stability - One of the key strengths in this Company is job stability in an unpredictable market. The company provides job security which is reassuring in today's world. The managements' commitment to long term goals and sustainability with good principles and ethics has kept the Company on track over 27 plus years despite different market challenges. 4.Challenging Environment-The projects ,customers and the tasks provided are always engaging and interesting. I was encouraged to take ownership of task and project deliverables and learned from interacting with customers. There is a lot of room to learn by handling complex projects. 5.Culture and team collaboration- The Company culture is warm and friendly. While some challenges exist, I have seen the team came together to collaborate on critical projects. The environment can be demanding, but this has also allowed me to sharpen my problem solving and time management skills. 6.Long Term Relationships- I have built long term professional relationships with colleagues, which has been valuable to me. Seen past alumni of Company from USA and other parts of the World often visit and maintain their rapport with the management and the Company. Please note that I am not paid to do this post but felt compelled as my experience is very good and there are more positives than negatives in the Company. I have had opportunities to learn directly from senior colleagues, gaining insight into management and different business processes which has enriched my experience. Overall the Company has provided me with a solid foundation and the chance to grow in a challenging ,fast paced environment.
