No health insurance for employees or their families. Management believes that employee productivity will decline if they go to the canteen to purchase evening tea. Management will not provide salary slips or appraisal letters. Some team leaders are micromanagers. Salaries are lower compared to other companies. Designation changes to senior levels are not possible. The probation period is longer than average (typically 12+ months). The offboarding process is extremely terrible, with management behaving rudely and assuming the employee has cheated them. There are no employee engagement activities such as tours, monthly, or quarterly team lunches (these may happen once a year). Employees must be in the lab for at least 8 hours. If they are not present, they must send an email stating the reason. Alternative Saturdays are working days. Management frequently monitors employees' LinkedIn and Naukri profiles. No skill development opportunities—outdated ASP WebForms are still in use. On-site travel is only allowed for managers or senior employees with over 10 years of experience. **Note:** Don't trust 5-star reviews.

Dislikes

Alternative Saturdays (first, third, fifth) are working. In addition to that, compared to other companies the holidays and leave allocated in a year is less. Management is too strict about the work from office and always compelled on the same. Very poor infrastructure.

Very positive atmosphere and culture. I was zero in knowledge when I joined Kott Software, now after 1 year and 5 months have realised the learning and personal development received. Seniors have no ego, very approachable and sharing their knowledge very freely to help you.

Feel more employees needed to grow the product.

Good emphasis on employee development and technical orientation, Everyone is made to undergo the technical areas and domain training before assigned to their work. Good seniors who are approachable, and friendly. Accessibility to top management. Client exposure.

Dislikes

Sometimes delivery pressure from the client side puts work to be stretched 9-10 hours but its ok while growing in a team environment.

Likes

Company gave me a good start to my career by providing initial technical orientation and upskilling me into the technology areas. I was not sure of myself of a career plan before this job but now I feel am on the right track. Been here for more than 3+ years and have supportive superiors and collegeaus. Steady growth and good learnings. Past year got good involvement with end clients and engagement with the end users which opened myself to understand from a customer perspective and great learnings. Still a lot to learn and is driving me and makes it exciting. I never realized will get this exposure so early in my career

Dislikes

Am happy and comfortable with the steady growth over the years. Some months delivery pressures are there and end up 9-10 hours on the release days or week. Though understand it is normal in an engaged role and growing environment with client responsibilities, wish there is more time given by clients. Appraisal and compensation has been steady and no to complaints.
