Ok, pay as per market standard. Good benefits and goodies. Good health insurance and accidental death coverage. Well, leave structure and enough leaves. Udemy subscriptions. Free lunch and breakfast. Festival and other bonuses.

No job security, extremely unstable. Layoffs have already happened and might happen again. There is no growth at all. There is no room for growth as it's all packed. They barely have the budget, after each year you will know whether you'll get funding next year. There is no roadmap and while working there is no sense of how are we contributing. Depending on the project you might work on a new or legacy tech stack. It won't feel like a product base once you work there. No proper management but, yet when things don't go as planned managers are safe. May not be a good place to be there now, but if they have enough customers and have a recurring revenue-generating and profitable business then it's a great place to be.

Salary and benefits wise this is good company

Dislikes

It is driven by some old employees who keep dependencies with themselves without helping anyone and all managers and senior folks listen to only them blindly during appraisal and they don't ever listen to an employee even if they are defending with proof so whatever these puppets say that is final huge politics and those who be puppets of managers they are safe here else management will layoff an employee just by puppets feedback no chance for an employee to justify the negative feedback received never think of joining this company go for better small startups rather than joining here they will make your life hell.

The list is endless ...... * Most toxic place to work - Company has the worst management, is full of toxic managers who are sitting there since ages and only interested in minting Kongsberg's treasury. Not involved in any real job considering what they are paid, they come to office to smoke and to play politics. Few managers run other businesses and just work there for time pass, who don't have any idea about business and what their team is doing. Managers openly harass employees and behave rudely with women employees. And still the HR choose to be blind. Favourism is at its peak, only the ones who drink and smoke with their manager get promoted and despite doing no work. As a result of this, the business got impacted and company is in pathetic situation. * Sinking ship - The company is in utter poverty. They have shutdown one entire department - Digital Ocean which had the maximum strength (around 150 employees). And yet the management is not at all accountable. In 2023, more than 50+ employees were fired, out of which 40 was a mass layoff. Initially, in the beginning of 2023, 6 employees were fired and the MD justified it to be due to poor performance. KDI Bangalore's MD clearly announced on the dias that there are no layoff even though he was aware of it and the entire management and HR kept covering it up. One day, there were 40 roles eliminated suddenly. This list doesn't include any manager and their favourites. Silent firing is still going on without any proper reason. KDI will shutdown one day if the same continues. The company has budget for managers hefty paycheck but not to retain employees. Very much disorganised and no one has a clue about what will happen next. * No job security - All current employees' days are numbered. Please don't join by falling for the initial offer, it's a bubble that will burst soon and you never know when your turn would come. You will have to undergo stress and anxiety each and every day. Ironically, company has budget for managers' hefty paycheck but not for the hardworking employees. Many talented employees sensed this and have already left. The only ones left in the organisation are those who can play politics well but do not real job. * Poor process - Starting from HR ops to project activities, there is no process at all. Some leads and people in leadership role take undue advantage of these loop holes and exploit team members. Small companies are always small not matter what CTC they offer. * Immature HR - The only thing they do is decorate the small and suffocating office space in the name of branding !!
