The pay as intern is very satisfying.

I worked in the FFAR As an Intern I was not given a laptop/pc So I had to shadow the analyst Never got any hands on experience The Gujju VP was very disappointed that he was not given a CA Intern I would receive underhanded taunts from Superiors in the team that I was not good enough, I was not educated enough and that I did not deserve to be Interning at such a prestigious company Lol ! Took me an entire semester and counseling to realize I was corporate bullied. And that I did everything to the best of my capabilities.

...balanced, at times one may need to stretch, but organization never encourage it. Salary at par, and great perks given too.

Dislikes

No wfh option available with the recent changes announced by the top management. However flexibility will be given based on personal requirements, fingers crossed.

...of work instead they will force you to learn something they have in the project. And if you refuse to learn they will give you very poor rating and they will stop your salary hike for the year.

Salary is decent compared to industry average. Also, You don’t need to worry about the job security unless you are really bad. Work life balance depends on which line of business and what team are you working.

Dislikes

Promotions are too slow compared to your peers in US or UK. A person will stay as an Analyst or Associate for years and your peer will become a Vice President or even an Executive Director within the same timelines. Your promotions are hardly based on your performance and mostly based on how much good relationship you have with your manager and how much the management has endorsed you as a brand.

Jp Morgan provides the best in class inclusivity and job security and competitive compensation along with perfect work life balance and a culture that makes you feel like making it the only company you would ever wanna work for.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked was the interview for internal job postings. Whilst they do multiple interviews but they still open job requisition in accordance to the person they have in mind.
