Before I write down anything let me clear my perspective. My reviews is completely based on my role in Operation Risk Management profile and it might differ from others. Work life balance is just what we need. No need to set your expectations low. They promote family time, activities for mental strength, there us flexibility in work timings, no micro management in terms of log in, log out and working hours. The appraisal is another factor which is very motivating. It is actually above industry standards but the best thing about it is that it’s consistent. During covid aa well they paid the fair share, when its peers did not paid more than 5% JP was giving more than 10%. Next is about the work culture. As it spans through various countries your colleagues might be from different countries and thus you get to learn a lot about how different culture work. My manager is in New York, US and I am baaed out in Mumbai, India but still there are virtuL programs as well. The learning ability which JP provides is immense. They constantly motivates you to upskill in your career. They have their own learning portal which provides you access all the learning from tech, finance, AI, machine learning etc.

Dislikes

...ion as it makes you more comfortable and thus thats the only thing which I hate. If you get use to the environment you would never think to grow in terms of compensation.

Immense opportunity to explore, salary was good, good brand value, treats us good during covid times

No work life balance, they make you feel like they are doing you a big favour by giving promotion, they start criticising your work couple of months before year end so that they can justify low increment, big on show off to higher ups

...of work instead they will force you to learn something they have in the project. And if you refuse to learn they will give you very poor rating and they will stop your salary hike for the year.

Salary is decent compared to industry average. Also, You don’t need to worry about the job security unless you are really bad. Work life balance depends on which line of business and what team are you working.

Dislikes

Promotions are too slow compared to your peers in US or UK. A person will stay as an Analyst or Associate for years and your peer will become a Vice President or even an Executive Director within the same timelines. Your promotions are hardly based on your performance and mostly based on how much good relationship you have with your manager and how much the management has endorsed you as a brand.
