Well, till the time i was working with this organisation i was happy working here. It is a hotel management government institute. Job security is zero, now this may sound funny but yes. I cleared the exam for the post of Teaching Associate last year and thought my job is secured but it is not. Every other staff member is being called to institute but not teaching associates. So the company is not following their own policies. Even though they are receiving fees from students, i don't know how much money i would have taken from this company in this crises. They pay a very handful amount of salary. The management is worst in supporting.

Everything is being disliked about the institute now. After clearing exam i worked so hard here . Whenever they called even on Saturday and Sunday i never said no to any work. I have worked off timings also so many times. But my hard work was not counted ever here. They overloaded me with subjects, classes, conducting activities, but when time came from them to support me it is zero. Its very sad that such government institutes can do this bad to their employees.

Nothing good to like

Dislikes

Work Environment is really terrible as studies are not important in college because our Seniors make us skip our class in order to do there un-necessary work. There is no appraisal even if we are doing excellence work. Work life balance is terrible as they make us to do work even after working hours daily.

I like the ihm degree. The atmosphere, practical classes. Good faculties.

Dislikes

The hotel job is not like that which is shown in the books or in college. Almost every hotel in india they just play with the ihm students. Degree diploma nothing matters in hoteliers job. I don't think someone need to do graduation for this work this can be done by a normal life. Me and most of the youngsters are wasting more than 12 hours in the hotel. And what we get a small amount. This is the dark truth that hotel industry is a crap. I don't recommend people to do this. Because me and my friends have also lost their Life momentum because of this job.
