There are lots of avenues for Skill Development which is really good; you can learn at your ease though mobile app as well. There is work-life balance except in a few projects which are in a critical trajectory. The campuses are great, lots of green space to refresh, relax or take a good long walk. There are many career growth opportunities in the Company through horizontal movements to different service lines and verticals based on your interest. Work content is good and challenging. Good work culture and employee care! Senior Management listens to issues, aspirations and grievances and strives to act upon to make a difference. Work from home is limited to 9 days a month. Overall, quite satisfied working at Infosys.

Dislikes

Compensation must be attractive, it is below par. This is one of the key reasons Company is unable to retain talented employees. Health insurance coverage for self,family and parents is not on par with other IT companies.

... or perks given to employees which matter to them or give them feel good factor. No transparency in appraisal cycle and salary revisions. No information is shared with employees and we only come to know from outside news.

Onshore visa initiations are nominated irrespective of person travelled or not as part of retainment philosophy.

...d hike percentage usually do not cross single digits irrespective of top rating. Example, If salary is 100. JL6 - fixed pay-30% var - 5-15% super annuation - 30% tax bracket from govtd = 100-30-5% sa - 20% tax assumption=45 rs, so you get 45 at hand of your ctc is at 100 Similarly 20%var for JL5 and 10% var for JL4 Just do the math and how under par salary.

Management is worst. If they are not able to utilise day time of 9 hrs, then what kind of management and culture they are doing. Not sure. There is always urgency of tasks, they don't even bother about your health. They want to be available on weekends, holidays, leaves. Like 24x7 support they need. Worst company ever had.

I got many right opportunities to work on varied and new areas like salesforce, big data and ml. But its not true for majority of the workforce. Mostly you do not get a choice and the pressure to reskill and score a high Digital Quotient is high. Every quarter there is a new set of reskill topics that you need clear to meet that met-expectation appraisal rating. So you need to be on toes mostly. There are always two streams you need to cover - client commitments and infy commitments.

The compensation is awful if you stay for long in same org. There are always years where there will be 0 hike so that effectively ruins your ctc.
