Stuck at low salary
I have been working in the same company for more than 3 years with no hike. Got hike this year in single digit which is again frustrating. Earning 9.5lpa with 7.5years of experience chandigarh feels too low. Work is only of Manual Testing tied with the role of BA. Planning to move towards python automation but need to work from home due to family conditions. Please suggest are there any companies offering wfh with good salary hike and how can I increase my chance to get hike more than 80% if I m planning to switch within this year?

For freshers for new joining Infosys is the best company according to the salary work like balance the project the skill development the culture everything is so good and so many things are depend on state to state like which DC you got otherwise everything is ok so good

You will Learn a lot from their learning platform (Lex) it has really good content.

Dislikes

There is no work life balance.My experience with team is worst. No support . No hike . They are literally forcing employees for resignation for budget cutoffs.

Salary. Been working since 4 years here. 1 year wasted due to COVID as, 2 months after I joined outbreak happened. Been in a project since 3 years. Learning development pace is good but compensation is terrible. Got outstanding rating twice but package has increased from 3.6lpa to 4.7lpa in 4 years. Terrible hike and appraisal system. Non rewarding work. Even if you work harder than anyone in the team there is no extra compensation. A guy on bench since 1year will be getting same salary as you who works 12hrs a day regualrly since 3 years.

Micro Management. Everything is not about pay sometimes it's about the treatment you give to your juniors. Boomer generation and their ideologies. Boomer generation is sitting in management level soo toxic and useless I can't even explain them in words.
