I have been working in Infosys for 3 years. Nothing to say as good.

Dislikes

This is the worst organisation ever when it's comes as compensation, hikes and promotions. No value for performance. They only compensate and promote people based on their state , degree, religion and caste even if they don't have the bare minimum eligibility to deserve that. They don't even consider the employee who working hard and giving consistent high performance even if they have more than the required eligibility they won't even consider them for any hike or promotion.

Achieving work-life balance can be project-dependent, but overall, my experience with it has been positive. At Infosys, job security is robust unless one demonstrates poor performance in both projects and fails to engage in continuous learning or certifications through the Lex courses offered by the company. Additionally, maintaining work-life balance is feasible while working here, thanks to a supportive company culture. Moreover, Infosys fosters a vibrant atmosphere with diverse cultural activities, enhancing the overall work experience. The company places a strong emphasis on employee satisfaction, offering avenues for personal and professional growth that contribute positively to one's career journey. In alignment with this context, it's important to highlight how the company's commitment to employee well-being and development significantly impacts the overall work environment, making it conducive to success and personal fulfillment.

It sounds like the compensation structure at Infosys for fresh graduates might not be meeting the standards many would expect, especially in terms of salary and benefits. For instance, a BCA graduate in 2023 is reportedly receiving a monthly salary of around 14k, while BTech graduates are getting approximately 20-22k per month, which can be quite challenging for individuals, especially in metropolitan areas where the cost of living is higher. The promotion and appraisal system also appears to pose challenges, being primarily system-driven. This means that even after nearly 2.6 years of service, a BCA graduate might see an increase of only around 5k in their monthly salary. This can be disheartening for newcomers looking for swift career growth and financial stability. It seems like lateral entries may have more manageable growth opportunities compared to fresh graduates, potentially highlighting a discrepancy in the growth trajectory for different entry points within the company. It's crucial to address these concerns to ensure that new hires, especially fresh graduates, have more equitable and promising prospects for growth and development within the organization. This could enhance overall employee satisfaction and retention rates.
