Friendly people but back stabbing at the same time

Dislikes

The HR department frequently engages in manipulative behavior, particularly during salary reviews, dismissals due to lack of projects, and providing outdated reviews when letting employees go. If considering employment here, it's advised to avoid involvement with Aditi and her projects to avoid potential mental stress. Numerous complaints about her conduct have been raised to HR, yet no actions has been taken, likely due to familial connections within the company. Establishing a positive rapport with Aashish Singla is recommended to navigate the environment effectively. The company tends to excessively for salary increments. During the review for my hike, I was informed that merely completing projects isn't sufficient; additional contributions like blog post or presentations for the company are expected.

- Bad management (changed just this year) - Bad employee policies - No transparency/reasonings on decisions. Run like an autocracy - Decisions are not even announced/discussed in advanced. Eg. increased notice period from 2 months to 3 months without any notice

Was good work culture until 2021

The current state of the organization is quite concerning. More than 50-60% of engineers are on the bench due to the lack of live projects, yet the company continues to hire management-level employees. Project assignments are no longer based on skill or experience but rather on personal connections with leadership, especially the CTO. Employees on the bench are often pushed to learn technologies like Node.js or React.js, regardless of their background or expertise. Those unable to adapt are often asked to resign under the pretext of poor performance. In recent times, appraisals have been disappointing, with average increments of just 2-5%, despite promises of industry-leading raises. Additionally, the notice period was quietly extended from 2 to 3 months, adding further strain. Many long-term clients have pulled out, leaving the organization with few ongoing projects. The company has also shifted away from recognizing employee milestones, such as work anniversaries or personal achievements. If employees with several years of service choose to resign, there is little to no outreach from management to understand their reasons or attempt to retain them. This marks a stark contrast from how the organization used to be. In the earlier years, it was a dynamic workplace with a healthy project pipeline, a supportive work culture, and leaders who were approachable. Appraisals were more fair, and efforts were made to align projects with employee skills. Unfortunately, those values seem to have eroded over time, and the focus has shifted to short-term gains and internal politics.

With recent management changes, it's become the worst place to work. The manager will directly commit your work hours to the client without consulting you, so you must complete the task at any cost. If you're joining, be prepared to work at least 10-12 hours a day.
