Poor old thinking leadership team. People in system since last 8-10 years in ICICI Bank do nothing, they think as if they are working in Government organization. Treat their fellow colleagues as very rudely, shouting, abusing. New joiners work as drivers for Leadership Team. HR team is not doing their work. No support if you raise any concern. In name of cost optimization people are tortured and forced to put down papers

...ng rigourous steps to manpower cut down and does the workplace has became toxic. Company have very bad policy towards recruitment, I have seen new joinee freshers joining on high salary and they aren't even worth the salary given. Decisions if taken by business group or operations then it will work out well for the company but as of now HR are taking the decisions which will not be good for a long term.

1. HR are like god in this company, they shift you anywhere irrelevant to your experience and education. They are god because you could never meet or see them in person. 2. The company does not layoff people, because they dont want to give severance pay but they will transfer you to some remote location or some irrelevant position so that you yourself resign from the company. 3. Career will not grow if you are located in Mumbai or Hyderabad. 4. Transfer and OJP's are just for name sakes but in reality they are not applicable for you. 5. A person was transferred to a different department by HR after 1 year of his service. Later the location of the person was changed after 6 months internally. While person applying for OJP the HR says "you have to be in a position for 2 years without transfer or location change". In this scenario the person did not change his location or job profile by his will but still he is not being considered for OJP. 6. People who wish to join the bank do speak to staff before you join, as the bigger picture shown is different from the actual reality in this bank. 7. I have worked with many companies in past then i switched to ICICI. Here you would not be heard, here you will not be appreciated, you have to work like a robot. 8. In my 1.5 years of tenure i haven't seen any employee engagement here.

Timings are manageable on most days. Work pressure is phased out. Brand name is good. Job security is excellent.

Dislikes

HR is extremely inactive. Pay is much below industry averages. Meritocracy is zero within the organisation.

Job security id there so anyone can survive if they are not performing too, salary is low and promotion and appraisal is rare if you are not from sponsored/Tie up colleges.

Except the salary nothing is good. It totally depends upon the manager you get, there is no work life balance, terrible culture, except Mumbai no work space too Personal experience: When you go to washroom your chair would be stolen and then you have to wait until next person goes for loo
