Nothing. No work life balance.

I'm a fresher. Very low pay structure for an MBA. I didn't had a place to sit for 4 months since the time I joined. No training no product knowledge. Had to learn on my own. Bad timing. Worst manager. Unnecessary meetings at nights just to discuss numbers. All in all its not good if you're a fresher. They all will blame you even if you're doing your part. This is my first job and had a really Bad experience.

Obviously the work load will definitely push you beyond your limits and ultimately you will feel like the sword capable to cut down anything, but do remember that a sharp and sturdy sword becomes like this after numerous beating. The same thing will happen in ICICI.

...nrolled with a bank who will charge less ROI for the loans they wanted to avail. In rural areas even if a customer wanted a business loan of 1 million he will never ever pay a high ROI cause for that same small amount of finance other banks were charging a very less interest rates. Hence achieving targets became very difficult cause I used to fail in the first step of persuading the customer by telling him or her the high ROI icici bank charges as per their pricing policy. All and all it will take half of my day to write about the working experience and I was more disappointed from the PO program of manipal academy Bangalore cause even after scoring good, having high participation in all curriculum activities, doing everything they asked to be the best manager, they gave me a role which is core sales when the academy Dean promised to allot a good profile to 10 top people including from my batch of graduates. I'm won't say icici showed a hell life, obviously other banks also has the same work pressure, but not giving you the profile where your have your expertise, ended up breaking my confidence.

Support with work from home. Didn't hear about any layoffs done. Salaries are regular.

Dislikes

Salary parity is not there. Fresher from a good College will have way higher salary even if you are experienced or joining at higher grade.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that market reliable, high quality products and has a global client base.

I have concerns regarding ICICI Bank's compensation and work culture. Specifically: - Salary: The bank offers significantly lower salaries (4-6 LPA) to Tier 3 college graduates with 5-6 years of experience, including B.Tech/M.Tech degrees, compared to freshers from top-tier1 colleges for similar work. - Workload: Employees are often overloaded with excessive work, leading to undue stress. - Bias: There appears to be a bias towards hiring and promoting graduates from Tier 1 colleges. - Promotion and hikes: Opportunities for growth and salary increases seem limited. - Work environment: Some senior managers allegedly create a toxic work environment, exhibiting unprofessional behavior towards female employees and using aggressive language. - Leave policies: Junior employees are often denied leave, including PL, CL, and sick leave, while senior managers enjoy their weekends and week days as well. - Business ethics: The bank's management practices seem to lack business ethics and morals towards gender specific. - Expectation of constant availability: Junior employees, including those in Designation/Department (DE), are expected to be available 24/7, including weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and off-days, which is unsustainable and blurs the line between personal and professional life. - No compensation for extra work: Employees are not provided with compensatory off (comp-off) for working extra days or hours, leading to burnout and impacting work-life balance.
