It all depends. Here they follow people manager who takes care of all activities for an employee. HR team never involve for any employee concerns. If any people manager is escalated, their line manager never investigate the concern. They support people manager though you provide all proofs. Even people manager and their line managers want to secure their place in the company and want their salary. They never work as a team. This is the reason why IBM is in backward in IT race. Even a new startup are moving up in the race. You can compare the revenue stats and quality of ibm with new startup on the quality and employee wellbeing in any search engines.

They considered me for H1b and filed my petition in 8 months after my joining

After receiving H1B they never approved my travel and you are forced to stay there for less salary. Don't take joining bonus, get maximum take home salary before joining. In percentage you will receive like 8-10 percent hike but in 3 years you will be less paid and have less knowledge as you work for some client.

Promotion proccess at times seems completely dependent on Client feedback might not reflect the true potential of the candidate

you will get stucked in leaning loop to learn their own tech stech which are not that famous in market, stop thinking about leaning new skillset while working you will drop the knowledge of your existing skillset you carry,

Job security but manegerial level wil make your life uncomfortable in work.

Dislikes

Packages,no hike even after 1 year completion in the project with good performance. They are ok to hire new employee with 50-70% hike but cannot give even 20% hike for the existing performing employee in the project.
