IBM is a very large MNC. Worked there for more than 4 years with excellent team. Managers are good. Lot of learning oppurtunities on new technologies through webcasts. They have very good client base.

Dislikes

Moving up a value chain is bit difficult due to its sheer size. Salary increments are not there. Appraisals are more or less pre determined and on rotational basis. Lot of internal process sometimes will bring your morale down.Trying to get out of a project to seek other challenging tasks is next to impossible since getting release from current project is not easy. Job rotation is not adhered. Getting overseas opportunities is not possible.

There are no such policies available in IBM to like anything.

Dislikes

They don't paid salary as per the work. Less job security with zero skills development. no work culture even they force employees to come on Saturday and Sunday when there is no such a requirement in project. employees when there is no requirement in project. work culture is very poor and they don't allow their employees to educate on various skills development programmes.

IBM provides a lot of learning opportunity,so you can pick a field that you are interested and grow yourself in that and ask for project in that field.

Dislikes

It's a good place to work and learn ,apart from the salary expectations.

... pressure or even make you struggle. Any time work from home., unlimited leaves., good compensation and perfect work life balance

Dislikes

Being in such a big org., you don't get to learn much or develop much unless your manager hand holds you at each step

Good learning and skills development opportunities. Attractive compensation for lateral entries. But compensation growth could become stagnant after that.

Dislikes

No shift timings for my project. Work Life Balance could go for a toss in few projects.
