No appraisal no salary hike no band promotion, new joini will get salary more than you. No manager support, internal politics is also.

Salary hikes and promotions are big component of job and here it is really slow process. you rarely get a hike and promotion but you will get other benefits.

...what is the work of HR if employee always need to connect with people manager. . there is no policy of giving appraisal as I worked for almost 6 year in IBM and got no hike and promotion. To get the promotion employee should do personal work of manager like get coffee, get the laptop bag, book cabs etc.. Very disappointed with IBM policy.
