The company all over is good. The Work Culture is good, Employee friendly environment, haven't faced job security issues. Work pressure depends on the projects.

Compensation is decent, but career growth is slow. Hikes are below average.

Likes

Flexibility and trust is lifeline of IBM. And I like this about IBM. There is team spirit and quality of product delivered is reliable. There is scope to work on various technologies and anyone may find the his/her interesting area to work on.

Dislikes

Training is not up to the mark and compensation is below the market standard. Senior management is not skilled enough in technologies and that creates adverse condition for a good employee. You may not find your likely people in a time sometimes. It's hard to get skilled professional most of the time. Adhering to latest technologies in projects rate is very low.

Working from home and the different skills which I learned in different projects

Dislikes

Compensation is poor, and ratings doesn't matters in case of the appraisals. Although they have introduced checkpoint in which one gets reviewed quarterly but I worked so hard in one project but it got over before my appraisal and thus I received worst appraisal. Thankfully I got opportunity to move out of IBM. Don't expect free coffee/tea , even you will not get paper cups and paper tissues.

Management should good, RDM/PSP department not responsible for allocating correct project for employees, HR department should in good shape in company Policies not good in term of employees work life balance.
