Less salary Minimum appraisal Promotion with very minimum increament. Sometimes work on weekend due to client pressure. Seniors managers ignore junior working on off days. Had to work late hours because client is god for company and employee are nothing.

#There's nothing to like, the culture here has already made their clients treat HSC's employees very badly. #Would recommend you, to keep this job offer as your last resort.

...t certification, which implies we are the best company, hence we'll ignore you. #Worst salary benefits and appraisal. #Micromanagement with daily morning and evening standup calls #There's no EOD, as you are expected to support client day and night and attend multiple evening calls with clients after working hours, they don't want to waste money hiring employees for EST time for client support, day shift developers are expected to do that too, and to hide this they say we have flexible working hours. #Higher management is there in the company since its inception and they already know what is happing so doesn't matter who you complain to and what you complain about, things will remain the same. #Lots of documents on task reporting with minute details simply to micromanage #The worst daily task reporting software you could see in your life, it's called IPTS, it takes 2-3 days for an employee to fill in IPTS details every month and get it approved, this piece of software should be put in a museum to represent what a software bug is.

Hughes Systique is better in term of compensation in comparison with most of service based companies. Also they have very good client and good projects.

Very few options were there for Inhouse Java projects that time not sure about what's the situation now. They have a strict policy according to which you can't work with any clients till next two years after in any way (Full time/ contract/ Third party payroll ) once you leave Hughes. Also they don't allow your full time conversion to client.

Comparing it with other services companies, the pay scale is competitive. There are few sub groups, but i will talk about wireless. 80% of the projects are about maintenance with good exposure and ample onsite opportunities(not all projects though). Subsidized cabs, free lunches and snacks, light atmosphere.

HSC has a lot of 10+ years experience guys doing menial tasks and hence have a top-heavy structure. Depending upon which manager you get, it can be wither a good organic learning experience or a nightmare. Personally had a bad experience with manager who was technically solid but a 10x worse people's manager. I eventually left the company because of him. Poor onsite compensation. Most of the business from one client only. The onsite peers are generally a waste of time and very arrogant. Many offshore managers, many not all, like to build dependencies and don't provide any knowledge transfer. This can be a horrifying experience as they don't give you enough briefing before they put you to work and later use that against you. This happens because a 10+ word experience guy has to appear as important even if all he does is minor bug fixes and logs analysis.

At times there is scarcity of work for particular tech stack, then there occurs a possibility that you have to compensate on whatever work come across you, but this experience is quite generic throughout service based companies
