Excellent work - life balance. There will certainly be a few days where you might have strech after your work hours otherwise, the job security and people at Honeywell are second to none.

Perks offered to employees other than the salary component are not great.

Mostly employee friendly, timing differs project to project. Pretty decent pay. And for when u show talent they will pay u well.

Life in Certain projects are tough. Since it's a very big company and lot of people, it's political at times. We see some in efficiency in some managers and we have to live with it.

Likes

+ The way the HR and hiring managers lie. + The way they forget to pay you the joining bonus. + They hire you for a different role and move to a different business unit and change your role after you join so be careful. + Managers a super helpful in avoiding and career related discussion and promotion policy.

Dislikes

+ There is no promotion policy. Stay in the same role and retire is the new norm. Don't believe me? Please check in Linkedin. People are working in the same position for more than 15 years. + HCE is the business unit that got created out of no where and should avoid at any cost. + Too much of north and south politics. Even for monthly awards. + Old employees are demoralizing the new joinee and taking all the credits + Old employees engaging in petty politics instead of adding anything valuable. + Even there is corruption for our sourcing activities.

Work culture is OK. You can get support from team. Job security is fabulous. Flat salary everything is fixed.

Dislikes

Lots of meetings where hardly anything gets concluded. Hardly people have the complete understanding on the overall product. Poor appraisal. Infeasible deadlines.its recurring practice. Late night sitting is like a common trend. Managers forces employees to take interview on weekends intentionally. Managers are treating there peer as slave,you can expect a call in late night to fix a issue. They can ask you to fix the code issue even if you are on vacation and don't have the internet access. Honeywell used to be a prestigious brand name,but now a days it is not like that,there is hardly a scope of technical learning.

Brand Name and On Time Salary. Good For Privileged People. Ok for freshers to start careers with.

Dislikes

Toxic and Beaurocratic Work Environment. Your ideas, innovations, hard work is sabotaged by management. Technical and Experienced people are not respected. No job security. No Promotions and poor appraisals. People join with High Expectations given the brand reputation but get disappointed with the way they are treated. Feedback or even humble requests are used to destroy the careers if resources. Women Leaders of this company target fellow women and some very good resources. Year by Year it got worse only.
