Pathetic culture. Junior’s don’t even get a say in anything. Founder acts like a dictator. Wouldn’t recommend anyone. A lot of favouritism. I have joined another company now and I couldn’t be happier.

Company CEO and his wife always fights in office like they're bunch of kids CEO works like a dictator, listen to him or he will threaten you No job security If you're a video editor, you have to come to office everyday, even though every other employee have hybrid working and if you won't take part in their so called "office activities", they will fire you

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
