...to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.
Poor salary hike, people loyal to the company are under appreciated, no mechanism to match the salary of existing employees as per market standards no matter how skilled or certified we are. Lazy employees who are in good books with managers are not questioned leading to more workload on employees who are hard working. Regional politics and use of regional languages by senior management.
a good management gives good results. I like most of the things in HCL. 20kms to my home and flexible hours but the wrong person to manage project ruin everything.
No hike, no early release, Hcl does not follow the policies but we need to follow the policies. zero health benefits. worst project management. Variable pays are worst of all these negative points. Helping an employee to resolve an issue is hardest part. refering own people to projects. Healthy hiring but the bench strength is bigger than what they need.
1. Salary & appraisal: They will not increase the salary for more than 2.8-3 years. Fake promises to increase salaries and hike. No extra money for OT also. And also they are deducting variable pays every months without any reason (there is court case against HCL for that, you can read article on internet also).
2. Work life balance: In one word disgusting. We are working from morning 9 to late nights 9:30 average daily even one Saturday and Sundays.
3. Company culture: Fake promises and fake hike news they spread, and even after 2.8 years they are not releasing hike letters.
4. Work satisfaction: No matter how hard you work they will not happy and they will give more work to you. Senior managements are going home after 3:30 / 4:00pm but normal employees have to work till nights.
5. Overall: DONT JOIN THIS COMPANY.

...l of a person working at HCL. Appraisal cycles are always delayed and postponed. Moreover they also deduct your salary on name on EPB monthly even after you got 9/10 rating.
