Appraisal & promotion process. Delivery team Mafia. Not providing/crediting appraised amount from April like every other company. Worst mid-senior management. Very commercial in providing health care to the employees. The good campuses and good health care units and good administration is only in couple of locations, rest is worst.

Somewhat job security is there. Most of the projects are long term and stable. Salary at entry time is good. Encourages employees to take up paid certification which is reimbursed.

Dislikes

No promotion/hikes for last 3 years. Management doesn't care about good performers. HR is just a myth in this company. Client and company combined try to extract every ounce of work possible from a single person.

I am very pleased with the HCL work culture and work-life balance. The only concern I have is the lack of salary increases within the organization.

I would rather rate zero for screwing up some innocents life. This org is a perfect example for all those people suffering out there with pressure and working only for salary and basic needs. There is no leadership qualities, blame game is always up there. There is no hope for promotions and appraisals.

You can get opportunity of new skill development as you will get hired from some other technology and due to lack of projects you will be forced to work with new one as they will force to resign if you are on bench for 3months.

Dislikes

Zero job security if your client decides to close the project. Salary benefits are like they will put your salary components in variable and find 'n' number of ways to reduce your in-hand salary. You have to get a boot polishing skills to get it even though it is 500-1000 inr of increment per month.
