For learning and experience this is good company.

Dislikes

Negligible appraisal. No promotions . There is no standard of giving salary. Junior employee in same team with lower band could have higher salary than senior with upper band. They do not give any goodies on Diwali/new year. They do not give any money on referrals. Just the extra miles points.

Work life balance is great but depends on project and the management. Great choice to Kickstart career for the recent graduate.

Dislikes

No relevance for the LPA mentioned and take-home salary. Too many cuttings and dispersion. Don't expect hike and appraisals every year. Just for name sale they release and provide perks.

Company has small projects and work pressure is comparatively low, but it has its cons as well

Dislikes

There is hardly any salary hike if you are promoted to next level. If you spend 7 years in the company and joined at salary of 5 lakh per annum for agent role and got promoted twice and became manager, your hiked salary will be max 7 lakhs after 7 or 8 years of work. So idea is to take maximum when you join and don't expect company to give you bumper hike during annual appraisals or promotions.

Nothing is likable no job safety too.

Dislikes

...except for the knowledge u get that too forced on you in a short period of time. You may never get hike never get ur promised salary and a very big bad thing they expect people to work every day even in weekend in the name of production support and on top of exceeding our capacity they make u work 12hrs daily in the name sake of volume with out proper rest in the weekends. If quality suffers bcz of overwork they shame you if u focus on quality and loose target that too not normal more than 1 can do they again shame you in front of everyone. Been in this environment for only 5mnths but feels like years of suffering and they are normalizing this on daily basis as if its nothing. No proper organizing works no proper management or training yet they scold us as if we are the only one lagging in everything tho we spend hours of our blood and tears.

HCL gives you job security as compared to any other MNC and you will get salary hike every year depending upon your performance and skills. Company culture is not too good and not to bad

Dislikes

Many of the projects may lead to work in totally Night shifts so HCL should have to provide both sides cabs because many of their employees are coming from very far. HCL should work on their project managements.
