Working in HCL is a great feeling but it is very poor in terms of compensation & benefits because the amount of work we do that doesn't match with the amount of salary we get in our hands at the month end. In my opinion if you are looking in terms of compensation & benefits then please don't go for HCL. Yeah we do get opportunities to learn new things and take responsibilities but that doesn't define our salary.

Job security is good and chance of gaining knowledge and expertise in multiple domains.

Salary is below average with no promotions and no hike as per market standards. Also, not retaining good employees might be because of low budget.

1. Good learning environment. Its more suitable for 2 types of employees A. Freshers. B. Those who seek settlement. 2. Training modules are very good.

Dislikes

... room for buyouts. 5. Hike/Compensation is almost starting from single digit. 6. You have to get your pay hikes sorted during your joining. Do not expect good hikes. 7. No proper employee retaining policies.

...s company and Note : ( you don't have an allowance for US projects Night shift). You don't get your "Variable pay" Every three months, they create new policies without any information. One of these policies seems like a way to steal your salary under the name of EPB adjustment Monthly For example, it starts with 500Rs and may increase based on your salary range. The HR and US project manager are the worst Both are well-trained to fool the employees. I can write more about this kind of issue, But I don't have time. please check with other comments and employees

Being a big brand in IT industry, it's not a good company for long term. No promotions, No appraisals, very less opportunities for onsite which are reserved for non desr

No promotions,, no appraisals, variable pay deductions, onsite opportunity for selected people only, no allowances, policies are not employee friendly.
