Work life balance.

Dislikes

No remuneration . Got promoted to management role, but salary not revised as per role. No opportunity for career growth and support for right salary, recognition. Always retaining as under paid.

Salary, Career growth. Bringing Intermediate/12th class qualified people when there is so much unemployment in the market. Intermediate qualified people work in PMOs and recruiting, they question and ask our weekly updates, pathetic experience. Increments are given only for every two years and that 0 to 3%. Favorism for promotions and surprise bonuses. Unrealistic demand for contribution to Value portal, just to meet the management targets. Very unrealistic promises by Sales people to their customers.

Dislikes

The new policy of EPB is very alarming for the company. Till the Oct 23 they use to give 100% EPB but after that they deducting it based on individual performance. You get 80% EPB on your highest rating called DP. If you're deducting money monthly for performance then why there is another component called yearly performance bonus? Surprisingly there was no advance notice to employees who joined after Apr 22 that they are not getting any yearly hike. The latest act of EPB deduction was plan from oct but they didn't do it in Oct. No clarity why it is not implemented after notification to all employees before Oct itself.But suddenly it started in Nov again no advance notice. Conclusion - don't plan your finance until you get monthly salary because anything can happen in HCL.

Only Job security is good. Appraisal cycle is very pathetic , you will get the increased salary after 1 quarter. You will not get arrear if you are not getting top 2ratings. Not necessary you will get the same project in for which you are hired. You will not get performance bonus if you leaving company during appraisal or within 2months after appraisal completion. Hidden policies which makes HCL culture pathetic.

Dislikes

No segregation of work as per ITIL practices and that increases lot of work when everything is clubbed into 1 team to manage end to end services. No clear guidelines on appraisal Difficult to find any documentation or SOP's
