The initial salary offered was a pretty huge jump. It comes with a lot of benefits as well.

One of the worst work cultures. In less than a year our team worked under 3 different managers so it was very hard to start from the scratch since training them wwre also our job (practically i was made to do their job while training them, it was so dumb). They Hired me for service improvement role but no matter what suggestion I got to the table, it would be dismissed or ignored. But when the same thing is pointed out or demanded by the client(s) they'll jump right away. There's 0 proactiveness among upper management, there was this one instance where the client was extremely disappointed with the service and our senior manager asked the client what his expectations are! That was one of the worst way to get back, because as someone from the service industry you should know what the expectations/requirements would be. When the account went live none of the agents were trained on communications or customer experience, when I pitched for the training post listening to some of the calls, they immediately rejected my proposal stating it won't be feasible. There were shortage of resources (associates), TLs, QAs, no trainer, but more than 15 people in Ops!! I worked for a year and couldn't understand what those 15 ppl's roles were except a couple of them, as the rest of them neither contributed nothing nor attend any meetings. I later found out most of the people among the 15 were close with the SDM of the account, he gave them some fancy role codes and the billing codes just so that they can get paid for doing nothing. I have never come accross such cheap politics where they were eating the company's money so openly and the only way to get promoted is to become a member of "bucket holding community"🤦‍♀️ anyway.. on my work's standpoint it was extremely frustrating as there 0 cooperation from the leadership in terms of improvement, they would never take a proactive approach and wait for escalations after which they'll start coming up with action items blah blah! Work locations are extremely far from the main cities, it's the case with all the HCl locations. Cab services were poor! Overall I had a horrible experience with HCL so I decided to quit in less than a year! Now I'm happily working in a startup company where my inputs and projects are very much welcomed and appreciated.

Offers better exposure to what you do. If you have hunger to explore on your own, this is the company. Good colleagues. Work life balance is ok.

Pay is below market average. Expect micro management and too much cost saving. Below par facilities.

There is no value add work you would be doing entire tenure but there is job security

...ve to different team, company do have policies to it but mangers don’t follow. Compensation is negligible and no HR support at all. Seniors will say “anything reach out” but that is just words they never mean it.

Below average Compensation, hike and benefits- more and cunnning haggling during hiring, and HR/hiringnmanagers generally dont keep their words. Operates on the lowset methodology of fake promises and treat people no more than replaceable resources. Prime focus is on keeping costs low and almost no real concern of employee growth.No strategic view but just middle management tactics from employee perspective.
