Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

Dislikes

People leave company because of their managers. This happened to be true in my case where I left because of my delivery unit head integrity was questionable, playing smart with words and sharing my achievements with my colleague who didnt do much because she gets along with him. Not even HR manager came and spoke to me after I put my papers, this shows how much credit he has taken from me and showed me as a bad person.

The growth in terms of money is negligible within the company.. this is my first organization I started working with and even after 8 years of experience with this company I am a strongly underpaid employee.

...ations. Hike on promotion is pathetic. Even the appraisals are not satisfactory. Thumb rule followed to increments is to find offer from other organizations and negotiate on package with HCl for retention which is a bad practice.
