...ems job security is good Career Growth : Not much scope in my current profile. Salary/Appraisal : Decent salary;appraisals however have been on avg. on the lower side recently. Travel : Required to visit stores in your market region every weekend & whenever needed. Politics : This is the biggest issue i have faced,happens extensively. Learning : Good scope of learning if one is interested in indigenous ,handloom,handicraft products & their market scope in india. Work Environment : Ok,except for one single lady who is overtly loud & aggressive for the sake of seeking attention & scoring brownie points with top management by acting so in their presence. Innovation : Not much really in terms of tech./systems, however they are innovative in their product design. Work-Life Balance : Decent.

You will get exposure towards the craft segment of India, thats all.

Dislikes

The verticals are not organised,need to improve in terms of decision making. Salary is decent but there is lack of manpower and resources which in turn leads to extra working hours & days. Not suitable for someone who needs work-personal life balance.

...system and throw out those who were working any how in this pandemic situations. Saying that they dont have budget to pay new employee. Just to show that even in pandemic situation they are taking care of there employee they kept on roll employees and simply said good bye to those who were on probation. Worst experience of retail in whole career of 10+years

Today is 10th October 2024. It is 2nd day of Durga Puja. Suddenly in the middle of Durga Puja the management wok e up from sleep and decided to cancel the planed leave of all store staffs of West Bengal and declared that only one day leave will be granted. In case the decision was shared months back employees should have planned accordingly. However, as it is decided in the middle of Puja. It has made things worst. Complete worthless management.
