Dislikes

1) As a designer it was challenging to work under the marketing team manager and HOD. Their inadequate knowledge in design and video editing led to lack of understanding & cooperation. Attempts to discuss realistic deadlines were dismissed with remarks like. "If I can create videos in 4 hours, so can you", making the creative process hectic & unappreciated. 2) Excessive micromanagement and miscommunication from the Marketing Manager not only disrupted the creative process but also made it challenging to meet the already unrealistic deadlines. 3) Pretentious manager who acts friendly and supportive, but will pressurize and berate you, your skills & your experience during one on one work related meetings 5) Very few national holidays. 6) There were delays in processing appointment letter (In my case I had to wait for 1 month after joining), with only a basic letter of intent provided initially. The appointment letter lacked clarity on key policies, such as resignation during notice period and WFH policies. These information are only provided during HR Induction but they are not properly documented which the employees can sign before joining.

Nothing to like except the fact it's the Kolkata which is home town for me

Dislikes

Working here has been an extremely disappointing experience, primarily due to the lack of job security. The owner, Ayush Kejriwal, exhibits an appalling leadership style that fosters a toxic work environment. His micromanagement tendencies stifle creativity and innovation, leaving employees feeling distrusted and undervalued. There is a clear absence of empathy and leadership qualities, as employees are routinely made to feel unimportant. The owner’s inclination to be overly influenced by external opinions only amplifies the lack of confidence in his ability to lead effectively. His approach is reminiscent of a "grocery shop owner" mentality, with no strategic vision or respect for his team. It is also standard practice here to hire employees, especially senior professionals, at the beginning of the year, have them learn the processes, and then unjustly let them go within 3-4 months. This pattern reveals a severe lack of professionalism and respect for employees' careers. Adding to the hostility, there is noticeable racial bias in hiring and retention decisions. This behavior not only alienates employees but also reflects poorly on the organization’s culture The daily routine involves a demeaning practice where employees are required to stand and justify their work from the previous day, further underscoring the lack of trust and appreciation. The HR team is only manipulating and gives wrong impression to the employees to keep there job safe. Overall, this company is a poor choice for anyone seeking stability, respect, or growth in their career.

1. Entire office environment supportive & nice. 2. CEO is a very nice person with growth mindset, but you can't reach him directly, as you have to maintain the hierarchy. 3. HR team is supportive, but in few cases you can't get the required support faster as they have to maintain the office rules. 4. Tea & coffee service.

1. Firstly maximum reviews are here and Google are took from Chat Gpt, I'm telling this because I've already leave this company. 2. In the marketing team, the HOD (Alien) and the Manager need much improvement and they give importance according to their goodbook list, whatever the updated skills you have. 3. There is micro management system in the team. HOD is a highly paid worst person and the Manager has no words for his team. He is busy buttering his seniors. 4. If you join in the marketing team forget about your family because if your family is on deathbed condition, & you need a emergency leave you can't get the approval whatever the situation is. Manager act like he so much caring, but actually not. (Biggest reason of my resignation) 5. Leave policy is very confusing and No. of leaves are very less. No flexibility in the leave policy. 6. Every day morning meeting ritual (time waste). Guys, please think 100 times before joining duratuf Marketing team. Don't go with the showcasing facilities, you can't get those when you need it most.
